A Reminiscing

i feel like i’m falling

caught mid air in a transition of identities

i’ve lost parts of my old self

cant appreciate the things i once lived for

it can be confusing sometimes

when all i want now is to be closer to my lord

& anything that leads me to that

but in that

i’ve lost friends, reputations and a part of my self

i have already let it go but it is natural to miss what was once there
