Ar-Rahman (The Most-Merciful)

Ramadan is upon us

So let us rejoice

As we reach the middle of the month

And continue to skip our lunch

The forgiveness of Allah is in the air

But don’t think of it to be rare

Because truly, it is everywhere

His mercy always attainable

So do not put a misinformed label

Forever in our reach

If only we crave, we will beseech

You must not forget

Repentance is not an empty regret

But a promise and an ache to change

Applicable to the entire sin range

And do not despair if your past is like mountains!

Or even sins of endless plains

Because Allah knows our nature

As he created our stature

And even if your sins were as plentiful as the froth of the sea

He can turn them into a scale of good deeds

Because the Most Forgiving is He

So ask and ask, with a beautiful Dua like this

You do not want to miss the bliss!

He will give from his infinite bounties, no matter your name -

So do not feel an ounce of shame.

He is the All Merciful, the All Forgiving,

The one who has permitted you to live

And loves to be the one who always forgives.

I dump some of my raw, unedited thoughts, emotions and ideas here, some refined ones too. It’s a bit of a chaotic, wonderful, mess. Dare to venture within?
