Finding the Sun

i chased the sun for a while and after i found it, i sat down and wrote this as the golden hues slowly began to shy away.

do what makes you whole. forget the rest of the world because the world can be stupid – be who you are unapologetically without their dictations. meet people who take you as you are, understand and read you well. emotions, bad moments, low periods, anxiety and darkness doesn’t make you weak. it makes you powerful and beautiful. don’t neglect your beauty, don’t hide your beauty. don’t say you’re broken. say you’re learning. and then learn to grow and be unafraid to make all the mistakes that make you, you. find people who taste like the wind. keep the people in your life that your soul smile at. be open minded and don’t make a definite course for yourself that your life must follow. be emotional, be wise, be kind. lead conversations and life with authenticity and grace.
