They were a people that lived lives unsown

They were innocents starved of humanity

They were babies taught to laugh at the sounds of falling bombs

They tried to bury them

Clear them from existence

But what they did not know

Is that they were seeds.

They may take their homes, their land, their children

Their lives.

But they can never take the voice rising up.

Hold tight my people

Justice is near. Justice will be served.

Freedom will come.
